Anna Albus, age 97 of Sunbury formerly Wheeling, West Virginia, died Tuesday morning April 10, 2007 at Countryview of Sunbury.
She was born on December 10, 1909 in Shadyside, Ohio to the late John J. and Mary Ann (Myers) Connelly. Ann had worked as a telephone operator and after retirement went onto the career of a professional babysitter.
She is survived by nephews and nieces including nephew John (Rebecca) Connelly of Sunbury.
Preceded in death by her husband: Herb Albus; brother: John Connelly; sisters: Mary Rose Thomas, Ella Elizabeth Weishaupt, Sara Louise Reinacher and Margaret Connelly.
Services for Anna will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. and friends may caal 2 hours prior to the service at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling WV and local arrangements entrusted to the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling WV.
