Clyde Adams Sr., 69 of Marengo, died Wednesday evening at his residence.
He was born in Jeremiah, Kentucky on January 1, 1932 to the late Melvin and Pearl (Young) Adams. He was employed at Ranco in Delaware for 29 years and retired in 1997. US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and moved to the Marengo area in 1969 from Kentucky.
Survived by Sons and Daughters-in-law: Clyde Jr. and Ann of Ashley , Jeff and Jill Adams of Fredericktown. Grandchildren: Andrew, Kevin and Kara. Brothers: Curt (Doylene) of Jeremiah, Ky., Melvin (Maise) of Louisville, Ky. And Andrew (Sandy) of Corbin, Ky.
Preceded in death by his Wife: Loretta Blair Adams on December 2, 1999; Brothers: Dennis and Leon.
Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61 Sunbury where services will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roland Edwards officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
