Traci Ann Adkins, age 16 of Sunbury died unexpectedly Tuesday evening July 24, 2001, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Monkey Hollow Rd. near Sunbury.

Born on Feb. 18, 1985 in Westerville. Traci would have been a junior at Big Walnut High School. Traci was a cheerleader for Big Walnut School, a gymnast with Columbus Gymnastic Academy, and member of St. John Neumann Church. She enjoyed gymnastics, music, swimming, her dog: Woody, and her many special friends.

Survived by her Father: Dale W. Adkins, Mother & Step-father: Teri and Mike Franklin all of Sunbury, Sister: Tera Adkins, Brother: Tyler Adkins, Step-sisters: Kirsten, Brittany, Jenica Franklin, Paternal Grandmother: Maxine Adkins of Worthington, Maternal Grandparents: Pat & Katie Delaney of Westerville, Step-Grandparents: Marge & Larry Lyons of Westerville, Aunts & Uncles: Kathy Stewart, Karen (Vince) Golden, Roy (Marsha) Adkins, Polly (Jim) McGee, Ossie Adkins Jr., Bill (Cindi) Lisk, Lori Dustin, Kathleen (Ted) Georges, Kristy (Pat) O’Neal, J.P., Tom (Becky), Kyle (Lisa) Delaney, Numerous cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by Grandfather: Ossie Adkins.

Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:30 p.m. at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Rd., Westerville, Fr James Walter and Pastor Wayne Booth officiating. Interment Sunbury Memorial Park.
