Brent Davis, age 42, of Roosevelt Ave., Mt. Vernon, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2004. He was born September 27, 1961 in Mt. Vernon, and was a graduate on Northridge High School. Brent was an eight-year veteran of the United States Army, and was employed by Blubaugh Body and Frame in Mt. Vernon. He was an avid hunter and sportsman and was a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Kim (Mohn) Davis whom he married April 9, 1993; his son Garrett Davis of the home; his mother Sherry Rhoads Davis of Mount Vernon; his father Thomas (Nancy) Davis of New Straitsville; maternal grandparents Laurence and Mildred Rhoads of Mount Vernon; his brother Eric (Melanie Yost) Davis of Mount Vernon; his sister Gretchen (Doug) Hawk of Granville; nieces and nephews Erica Davis, Madison Davis, Jason Tice, Ethan Hawk, Cooper Hawk, and Calloway Hawk; his father and mother-in-law Fred and Janet Mohn of Mount Vernon. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Joe and Helen Davis.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon where funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM with Rev. Dan Whisner officiating. Burial, with military honors by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council, will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
