CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: Margaret A. "Peg" Lord, 84, of Charlotte, North Carolina and

formerly of Mansfield, passed away July 19, 2012 following an extended

illness.

Born May 19, 1928 in Mt. Vernon the daughter of L.M. and Anna May

(Burson) Johnson, she was graduated from Union High School in 1946.

For five years, Peg managed her own health food store in Ashland,

The Natural Food Shoppe. She then worked as receptionist for Finefrock

Funeral Home.

Peg taught Sunday school at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and

more recently was a member of Lincoln Heights Baptist Church. She was also a

4-H Advisor, avid seamstress and loved to work in the garden growing

vegetables.

Peg is survived by her daughter Margo Lord of Charlotte, NC, and

her three children, Kate and Timothy Lybarger and Griffin Dulskis. She is

also survived by her son and daughter-in-law Earl Jeffrey and Ada Lord of

East Canton, and their three children Jeffrey, Steven, and Julie Lord.

There are several great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving

husband Earl K. Lord on September 24, 2001.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life is being planned for

early September and burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
